How do I make changes to a volume?

  • Go to the ITS Service Request System (SRS) portal.
  • Select Turbo NFS or Turbo CIFS, depending on the type of volume you have.
  • Choose "Modify" and then select the Turbo volume you want to modify.
  • At the bottom of the page, click "Edit."
  • Enter in any changes you wish to make.
  • At the bottom of the page, click "Save" when you're done.
  • Your changes will be sent to the ARC Storage team for processing. This may take up to a business day. The team will notify you once the changes have been implemented.

Can I store sensitive data on my volume?

Yes, you can do so, but all sensitive data must comply with our Data Security policies.

Is it possible to distribute charges for a volume across multiple Shortcodes?

Yes. If you want to distribute charges for a volume across multiple Shortcodes:

  • For Michigan Medicine (Med) or the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA), contact your local unit support team for assistance.
