Turbo volume owners can create subfolders or directories with separate access management using mcommunity and Unix groups. This allows a specific group of users who have access to a volume, such as Great Lakes, to also have access to a particular folder. If you need to set up this kind of arrangement, please submit your request to [email protected] and include the following information:
- Volume name
- Folder name (e.g., projecta)
- Full path (/nfs/turbo/my_volume/projecta)
- List of usernames who should have access to the folder. This list will be smaller than the current list of usernames for the entire volume.
