Below is a list of common troubleshooting tips that resolve issues faculty, staff, students, or guests are having with WiFi on campus. If none of the suggestions below resolve your WiFi issues, contact the ITS Service Center.
Login First With an Ethernet Cable
If you are connecting for the first time on campus, it is often helpful to connect to the wired network via an ethernet cable.

A University of Michigan uniqname and UMICH password
A campus-compatible WiFi device
A location where MWireless is available
Written Instructions
Tap Settings.
Important: A valid UM-Ann Arbor email address ([email protected]) and UMICH password are required to connect to eduroam.
To prepare to use eduroam while traveling, connect to eduroam on the Ann Arbor campus. This will save you time, as it verifies your WiFi-enabled device is properly configured to use eduroam when you need it.
