Using CaptureSpace

Overview

CaptureSpace is a lightweight client application for Windows and Mac that provides a variety of recording and annotation tools. It is available in My Media through Canvas. Types of recordings include any combination of:

• audio
• screen
• webcam
• PowerPoint presentation

 

Installing (first time only)

Note

• The video above is for CaptureSpace Lite, but all of the steps apply to CaptureSpace
• Administrator permissions are not needed to install
• It only needs to be installed one time on each computer
• There is a version for Mac and for Windows

 

Steps to install CaptureSpace

1. From your Canvas profile, select CaptureSpace from the Add New drop-down list from the My Media drop-down list.
2. Click the link for Mac or for Windows.
3. Double-click to install.

Using: Screen Recording

Note Annotations can also be made.
